Can kids build these?: Yes, here are two kids that loved them. The nameplate design utilizes some advanced building techniques such as "Studs Not On Top" and "trapping", so these aren't for beginners with LEGO®. That said, children 10 years old and up should enjoy the challenge while following the step-by-step instructions. Younger children with experience building some of The Lego Group's larger ($200+) sets should also be able to build these. And if a younger child struggles with the build, a parent may simply be forced to play with LEGO®—oh the tragedy!
